THE ZZ TOPS were formed in 2007 to celebrate the music and career of one of the greatest rock n' roll bands of all time. Comprising of FRANKS WEIRD on Drums, DUSTY THRILLS on Bass Guitar and the REV BILLY F BIGGUNS on Guitar ,'That lil ol band from Devon' nails the look,the sound and the overall vibe of the Texas Trio with the beards, the cheap sunglasses, the fuzzy guitars, the outfits and all the moves!!

THEIR SHOWS place great emphasis on ZZ TOP'S actual LIVE performances thus creating the most dynamic stage show, packed full of brilliantly played classics from the early 70s and 80s, through to the new releases of today. In 2008 they had the opportunity to meet the their heroes in the flesh and show them what they`d been doing. Billy Gibbons of ZZ TOP commented “It`s the closest I`ve seen!” Praise indeed!

When formed at the end of 2007, THE ZZ TOPS represented a bold new direction for those involved. All had enjoyed successful playing careers but the call of the Texas Sound brought them together in what they intended to be the definitive tribute to ZZ top.

It's no easy feat to emulate the sight, sound and perhaps even more importantly, the spirit of the long-running original, but THE ZZ TOPS pays tribute to ZZ TOP by successfully capturing all these ingredients in a fast-moving, power-packed stage show.
